The Victron Energy PMP482505110 Multiplus-II is a powerful and versatile inverter/charger that combines multiple functions into one compact unit. It features an external current sensor option that extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist function to 100A, allowing for enhanced power management.

The PowerControl and PowerAssist functions of the Multiplus-II allow you to boost the capacity of the grid or a generator. You can set a maximum grid or generator current, and the Multiplus-II will automatically adjust the battery charging to prevent overloading. This ensures a stable and efficient power supply even during peak demand periods.

In addition, the Multiplus-II offers AC power availability even during a grid failure, thanks to its compatibility with off-grid and grid-connected PV and alternative energy systems. It can be used with solar charger controllers and grid-tie inverters, providing reliable power even in remote locations.

The Multiplus-II has two AC outputs. The main output has a no-break functionality, seamlessly taking over the supply to connected loads in the event of a grid failure or when shore/generator power is disconnected. The second output is live only when AC power is available on the input, allowing you to connect loads that should not discharge the battery.

This inverter/charger also offers virtually unlimited power thanks to its parallel, split phase, and three-phase operation capabilities. Up to six Multis can be connected in parallel to achieve higher power output, and two units can be connected for a 240V split phase output. Three units can be configured for three-phase output, and up to six sets of three units can be parallel connected per phase.

The Multiplus-II is designed for easy on-site system configuring, monitoring, and control. You can change settings quickly with the VEConfigure software and various monitoring and control options are available, including the Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with the optional VE.Bus Smart dongle), Battery Monitor, and Digital Multi Control Panel.

For remote configuring and monitoring, you can install a Color Control GX or other GX product to connect to the internet. Operational data can be stored and displayed on the Victron Remote Management (VRM) website, and settings can be changed remotely.
