The Raritan 170611 6-Gallon Hot Water Heater Heat Exchanger 120V is a reliable and efficient water heater that provides hot water for galley and shower purposes. With its dense foam insulation, this water heater offers better and longer heat retention compared to traditional fiberglass insulation. The tank is equipped with a 75 PSI T& P (temperature and pressure) relief valve to ensure safety. Its cylindrical design enables it to withstand more pressure than a cube-shaped tank.

One of the standout features of this water heater is its heat exchanger capability, allowing it to be connected to the engine cooling system. This provides the added convenience of hot water even when underway or when generator power is not available. The innovative heat exchanger, over seven feet in length, is evenly coiled throughout the interior of the tank, ensuring rapid and efficient hot water delivery.

The Raritan 170611 water heater utilizes an ignition-protected thermostat. While factory set to 120°F, it is adjustable within a range of 110° to 160°F, with a safety shut-down limit of 190°F. All models and sizes have plumbing connections on the same side, simplifying installation. Hot and cold water connections are "male NPT" (National Pipe Thread), while heat exchanger connections are ¾" female NPT.
