The Xantrex 76-0022-00 Battery Temperature Sensor (BTS) is a replacement BTS designed specifically for the Freedom 458 inverter/charger series. This sensor is essential in ensuring optimal battery charging by measuring the temperature and automatically adjusting the voltage based on the ambient temperature of your battery installation. With a 15-foot communication cable attached, it can be conveniently mounted on a terminal post of a battery bank or on the side of a battery.
