The Victron Energy Lyn060102000 Lynx Distributor is a modular DC bus bar designed for efficient and reliable distribution of DC power. It is an essential component of the Lynx distribution system, providing connections for up to four individual DC equipment circuits, loads, or DC groups.
Featuring a positive and negative bus-bar, this Lynx Distributor offers a space for individual DC fuses per DC group. Each fuse's status is monitored, and its condition is indicated by a LED on the front panel. In case of a blown fuse, the corresponding LED will turn red, allowing for easy identification and troubleshooting.
To utilize the fuse indication LEDs on the Lynx Distributor, it is necessary to establish a connection to a Lynx Shunt. The Lynx Shunt includes a wide input power supply (8 to 70VDC) to meet the 5V (4.5V-5.5V) power requirement of the Lynx Distributor circuit board. RJ11 fly leads are provided in the box to connect the Lynx Shunt to the Distributor. The Lynx Shunt offers two ports for convenient connectivity.
When all circuits are functioning correctly, only the central LED on the Lynx Distributor will be green. In the event of a blown fuse or missing fuse, both the central LED and the affected fuse circuit LED will turn red, indicating the issue. If not all connection points in the DC distribution are in use, it is recommended to install dummy fuses to extinguish the red LEDs.
