The Victron Lyn034170210 Lithium Smart BMS 1000 Battery Management System is a dedicated Battery Management System (BMS) designed for Victron Lithium Battery Smart batteries. These lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are available in 12.8 V or 25.6 V in various capacities, allowing for series, parallel, and series/parallel connections to build battery banks for system voltages of 12V, 24 V, or 48 V. With a maximum of 20 batteries in one system, the Victron Lyn034170210 BMS can provide a maximum energy storage of 84 kWh in a 12 V system and up to 102 kWh in a 24 V or 48 V system.
The Lynx Smart BMS 1000 features a built-in 1000 A contactor, a pre-charge circuit, monitoring and control capabilities via Bluetooth using the VictronConnect App or a GX device, DVCC closed loop control, ATC/ATD contacts, a programmable relay, AUX terminal, VE.Can and NMEA 2000 data communication, and Lynx Distributor fuse monitoring. The built-in 1000 A contactor acts as a secondary safety system to protect the battery, while the pre-charge circuit prevents high inrush currents when connecting a capacitive load. The BMS can be monitored and controlled remotely, and it integrates seamlessly into the Lynx Distributor system.
