The Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/100-Tr VE.Can is a highly efficient solar charge controller designed to convert energy from a solar array into optimal charging for battery banks. With its advanced technology, this charge controller can even recharge severely depleted batteries, operating with a battery voltage as low as 0 Volts (provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or damaged).

Featuring Ultra Fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT), the MPPT VE.Can SmartSolar charger is compatible with PV arrays of 150 or 250 Volt Voc. It automatically detects and charges battery banks of 12, 24, or 48V with a current range of 70 to 100A (depending on the model). The charge settings are fully programmable, allowing customization for different battery chemistries like lead-acid, lithium, and others.

Remote control and configuration of the charger are made easy through Bluetooth connectivity and the VictronConnect App. This enables convenient device set-up, management, and access to important information such as battery voltage, current, PV voltage, current, and historical data.

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger is equipped with CAN bus ports, allowing communication with additional VE.Can SmartSolar chargers. By daisy-chaining the units with a single RJ45 cable, the chargers synchronize their charge stages and can transmit their data to a GX monitoring device via a single cable.

For remote monitoring and control, the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM) provides full access to the solar charger(s) when the GX device is connected to the internet.

The VE.Can SmartSolar charger also features a VE.Direct port for single-unit monitoring or streetlight control. The remote on/off connector can be externally controlled by a third-party device like a lithium battery. Additionally, an optional plug-in LCD display/control provides live data, setup, and management directly from the device.
