• Quality without compromise - Aluminium epoxy powder coated cases with drip shield and stainless steel fixings provide excellent durability in harsh environments. The circuit boards are protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Temperature sensors ensure safe operation even under extreme environmental conditions by automatically reducing the output current if needed.
• Universal 90-265V AC input voltage range - The charger operates seamlessly without adjustment over a wide input voltage range of 90 to 265 Volts, supporting both 50 Hz and 60 Hz frequencies. It can also function with DC supply (AC-DC and DC-DC operation).
• Three outputs for simultaneous charging - The Centaur Charger features three isolated outputs, each capable of supplying the full rated current. This allows for efficient charging of three battery banks simultaneously.
• Three-stage charging with temperature compensation - The charger employs a three-stage charging process. It charges at a bulk rate until the output current reduces to 70% of the rated Amps, after which a 4-hour timer initiates. Once the timer expires, the charger switches to float rate. An internal temperature sensor enables charge voltage compensation based on temperature changes. A DIP switch is also available to select the optimal charge/float voltages for Flooded Lead-acid, Gel, or AGM batteries.
