This non-sagging, non-corrosive, and non-yellowing formula provides a durable permanent watertight seal for joints subject to structural movement.

Life Ind. 1170 Seal can be used above and below the waterline, making it versatile for a wide range of marine applications. It is commonly used for sealing decks to hulls, thru-hull fittings, vinyl ports, sealing/glazing windshields, and bedding marine hardware. This sealant adheres to multiple materials including metal, glass, wood, Lexanr, ABSr, and certain others.

One of the notable features of Life Ind. 1170 Seal is its ability to be removed without damaging the gel-coat. However, it is not recommended for use on ferro cement hulls, impregnated wood, or oil-soaked materials. The sealant cures in the presence of water and is mildew resistant and acid-free.
