This starter is highly recommended for late model 3.0 Liter engines with a 14" flywheel and tail bracket. It can also be used as a replacement for the 10MZT style starter with two long bolt staggered patterns, provided that the Mounting bolt kit MBK450 is used when replacing the 10MT.

ARCO advises using a fully charged battery with this starter, as a weak battery can potentially damage the starter and starter solenoid. It is also crucial to clean all connections to ensure an efficient starting circuit, as a corroded connection can create resistance and lower the amperage required.
